Clarks Originals
I managed and creatively directed this remarkable project whose concept was to chronicle the life of D*Face, a boundary-pushing street artist, as he embarked on an artistic pilgrimage. Starting in Paris, the film was set to document his journey, focusing on his mural creation in the colorful landscape of Koreatown, Los Angeles. D*Face's unique style and approach to art were central to the narrative, and the film aimed to explore the "hows" and "whys" of his craft.
The heart of the project lies in the creative direction. Crafting a visual story that showcased D*Face's artistic process and celebrated the spirit of self-expression was imperative. We wanted to capture the raw energy and creativity of street art. Clarks Originals Trigenic Evo Knits, splattered with vibrant paint, played a significant role in tying the worlds of street art and fashion together.
D*Face's journey encounters with. diverse cultures and landscapes, the vision for his Koreatown mural was expertly woven into the storyline. It was essential to balance documenting the artistic process and delving into the artist's inspiration, all while highlighting the collaboration with Clarks Originals.
